Speaking as a foodie with type 2 diabetes, I know firsthand what it’s like to live with limitations. I always have to check labels, count carbs, and restrict sugars. I know the Keto Diet has many advocates that swear by it. But for me it’s simply about fending off a list of progressive and debilitating diseases that rob everyone from enjoying a long and healthy life. Either way you look at it, you will pay, and it’s always a matter of choice.
And when it comes to choices… Keto Mini Donuts has over 13 flavors of cookies, over 25 flavors of cupcakes, and over 75 flavors of donuts - rotated throughout the seasons. They offer cheesecakes and specialize in cakes as well. Honestly folks, we love their selection. Considering how bad most sugar free products taste, here’s a few words to describe what to expect when you finally check them out; rich, flaky, fluffy, tasty, sweet gooey, sticky, rich, and luxurious. Need we say more? We definitely like their donuts, but our favorites are the cupcakes and pies – astoundingly delicious!
Our hats off to this business, currently with locations in Edinburg and Harlingen and sure to expand beyond the RGV. We’ve been loyal customers from the start and believe they are nothing less than living proof that the American Dream is alive and well. And, despite COVID 19 and Winter Storm Uri, they serve as an inspiration to our community and to all those who dream big and work hard to reach for the stars.
