The road has led us here. Hello, I’m Rafael your host and the other half of the RGV2foodies Team. Chris and I are passionate “foodies” residing in the Rio Grande Valley. We moved here from Los Angeles 12 years ago. I was born and raised in Chicago, and the other half was born and raised in Los Angeles. We’ve been blessed to feast upon some of the most authentic and diverse cuisines that cultures have to offer – all without leaving the borders of this great nation.

As the RGV continues to grow and attract people from around the globe, our mission is to promote establishments that raise the bar and offer our community more than just a passing meal.
